Harshal Patel, a right-arm medium pacer, made his name in the IPL with his subtle variations and deadly slower dipping yorkers. Having debuted in 2012 for RCB, he played for DC between 2018 and 2020 before rejoining RCB in 2021, where his performance went through the roof. He won the Purple Cap in IPL 2021, with 32 wickets, and repeated the feat in 2024 for PBKS with 24 wickets. Patel became only the third bowler in history to win the prestigious award twice. For TATA IPL 2025, Sunrisers Hyderabad secured him for INR 8 Crore.
