Having made his IPL debut in 2024 for Mumbai Indians, Anshul Kamboj played three matches and claimed two wickets. However, it was his historic 10-wicket haul in a single Ranji Trophy innings that caught the attention of IPL franchises and sparked a bidding war in the 2025 TATA IPL Auction. Ultimately, the right-arm medium pacer from Haryana was roped in by Chennai Super Kings for INR 3.40 Crore. His ability to swing and seam the ball both ways and his impressive domestic form make him a valuable addition to CSK’s bowling attack.
